Morden Park House Wedding Photographer

Morden Park House Wedding Photography

I’ve been a wedding photographer since forever but only this year did I venture down to popular register office Morden Park House. I was immediately struck how suddenly I felt I was out of London and in the countryside! The house is also an amazing and very beautiful Georgian manor house, built in 1770 by John Ewart. Just look at these grounds! A perfect backdrop for your wedding photography..

Morden Park House Gazebo

Selection of wedding photography images from Morden Park House Register Office.

Morden Park House has three main ceremony rooms - The Lord Nelson, The Ewart and The Sheridan Rooms; and of course the stunning Victorian-inspired gazebo in their garden for summer weddings. The venue itself houses Merton Register Office.

The Sheridan Room

At the front of Morden Park House, actually facing the park, you’ll find the popular Sheridan Room. Beautifully decorated with large french windows and bathed in natural light, you will LOVE it. And as a wedding photographer I love it too!!

If you’re looking for something a little more light, airy and natural from your wedding photographer that’s what I do! I’m a bit more documentary than most - but also like to give my clients classic wedding photography they can look at for many years to come.

Christine is an AMAZING wedding photographer. We’d give 10 stars if we could. I don’t like getting my photo taken nor do I like most photos of me, so I knew it was a pretty tall ask for effortlessly flattering candid photos that really captured the essence of the day yet didn’t require us to waste valuable hours of our wedding posing for pictures...I don’t know how Christine did it, but she did exactly that and then some

Megan and Rob's Wedding Photography | York House | Twickenham

Megan and Rob chose York House in Twickenham to tie the knot. York House is a stunning example of 17th century architecture, steeped in history and charm. Situated in the heart of Twickenham, York House is easily accessible for guests coming from London (with a direct train from Waterloo) or elsewhere in the country.

York House currently serves as the Town Hall of the London Borough of Richmond and Thames. It is situated on Richmond Road, near the centre of Twickenham, close to St Mary’s Church.. It is a Grade II listed building situated in a large park, which is also listed.

York House is licensed for civil ceremonies and also houses several function rooms, so you can have both your wedding and reception in the same place.

The grounds feature beautiful landscaped gardens, including the famous Italian Fountain Statues, which make a perfect backdrop for your wedding photography.

York House Gardens Wedding Photography

It is always a joy as a wedding photographer to step outside from the ceremony room to find a lush, well-maintained stunning garden. Perfect to follow the wedding with group shots and a couple’s photoshoot.

Megan and Rob opted for the Terrace Room in York House. The Terrace Room is an elegant room with French windows land as the name suggests, leads directly out onto the Terrace and gardens. It is licensed to accommodate 40 seated guests and 10 standing guests (wedding ceremony only).

It was onto The Anglers Arms in Teddington after their wedding ceremony. After a quick pic down next to the river we went back inside to join friends and family for drinks and cake and more super- relaxed, natural wedding photography..

Holy Cross and St Michael's Greek Church Christening Photography

The Holy Cross and St Michael’s Greek Church or The Greek Orthodox Church of The Holy Cross & Archangel Michael to give it its full name, is situated on the Golders Green Green road in North London. Popular with the Greek community of North London it holds many Orthodox religious services such as weddings, Christenings and funerals. As a Greek Christening Photographer it is always a joy to shoot here.

Islington Town Hall Wedding Photography

Where is Islington Town Hall?

Islington Town Hall was built on Upper Street in London from 1914 to 1920, and is a grade II listed building. It is accessible from Islington tube station - just a five minute walk away. So really accessible for guests as it also lies on some major bus routes. Islington Town Hall with its sweeping staircase, is decorated with columns inspired by classic Roman and Greek architecture. Which can make for some awesome wedding photography. Overall a popular register office for North London-based couples looking to get married.

My first visit to Islington Town Hall as a wedding photographer I remember thinking oh wow! The staff were SO friendly and helpful and little has changed since then. They are still among the friendliest and accomodating I’ve come across as a wedding photographer.

There are seven unique ceremony rooms withing IslIslington Town Hall and one of them is sure to cater for your needs whether you are having a wedding ceremony, civil partnership or commitment ceremony.

Veronika and Ronan’s Wedding Photography

Veronika and Ronan tied the knot in Room 99 which I absolutely adore. Not just for its natural light but the midcentury feel to it too. Room 99 has beautiful parquet flooring and three chandeliers. A round mirror provides a focal point and a useful tool for reflections in wedding photography.

Kan and John’s Islington Town Hall Wedding Photography

Kan and John had quite the entourage at their wedding earlier this year. They opted for the opulent Richmond Suite which perfectly accomodated all their guests. A large room only available on Saturday’s, the Rchmond Suite boasts high-ceilings, oak paneling and a beautiful large fireplace reflecting the Town Hall’s 1920’s grandeur. Kan and John were a super fun-loving couple. Had lots of fun at this one! Scroll down to see a few snaps from their reception at Frederick’s..

Francesca and Nicholas' Wedding Photography | Tower Hamlets Register Office | Shadwell

Francesca and Nicholas approached me last year to be their wedding photographer for their wedding in Cyprus in May. However a few weeks ago they decided they needed a wedding photographer for a small register office wedding they were going to have here in the UK so that their elderly grandparents, who are unable to fly to Cyprus, to attend. Their civil ceremony took place at Tower Hamlets Register Office which can be found in St George’s Town Hall in Shadwell, just one stop away from Bank Underground Station on the DLR.

Tower Hamlets Register Office has the most beautiful bright, light and airy room for marriages, and a gorgeous little interview room with an awesome ‘Happy Ever After’ sign. Perfect for wedding photography!

Sarah and Alexis' Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding

Sarah and Alexis are planning their big wedding for the summer, but at the last minute decided to hire a wedding photographer to cover their micro-wedding at Marylebone Town Hall. And I was sooooo happy I was free! Meeting these two absolutely was a joy. The kind of couple that give a wedding photographer a spring in their step. So much joy and laughter it was infectious. Alexis was keen for a natural wedding photographer to cover the day and I was told I didn’t disappoint!

“Thanks for sending the photos through. Its an amazingly high quality set of images. Just what we wanted and you captured the occasion beautifully”
