Lambeth Town Hall Wedding Photography | Christine Constantine Photography

Lambeth Town Hall is based on my doorstep in Brixton, South London. A vibrant and multicultural part of London, Brixton will always have a special place in my heart, having lived here for over four years back in the early noughties. With its history, art and culture and the coolest bars and restaurants with which to cater a small wedding breakfast/reception, Lambeth Town Hall register office is a popular choice for young couples living in Brixton and surrounding areas, wishing to tie the knot.

Being a Brixton wedding photographer who still lives locally it is an absolute joy to come here, which still remains home-from-home to me.

Here are a selection of my favourite wedding images from the various rooms on offer, as well as some ideas of wedding photography ideas outside and in the surrounding area of Brixton.

Lambeth Town Hall Wedding Photography

Why choose Lambeth Town Hall in Brixton for your wedding? There is a enclosed space behind Lambeth Town Hall which is a great spot for some intimate wedding photography, and doesnt take too long as it is literally outside the building. A few interesting backdrops give couples who are short of time an extra selection of cool wedding photography.

Lambeth Town Hall boasts 9 wedding ceremony rooms altogether; with differing sizes and aesthetics there will certainly be one to suit your needs. To date I have photographed weddings in The Circular Hall, The Pauline Room, The Olive Morris Suite and The Bowie Room..

Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding Photographer

During my first wedding at Marylebone Town Hall as a wedding photographer I remember thinking oh wow! The staff were SO friendly and helpful and I LOVED the different areas where couples can have their wedding photography. I’ve included a selection below of some of the different rooms, the staircase outside and some photoshoot opportunities to think about in the nearby area. Oh and both posed and non-posed images to give you an idea, and hopefully some inspiration!.

The Old Marylebone Town Hall (also known as Marylebone Registry Office) was built on Marylebone road in London from 1914 to 1920, and is a grade II listed building. Its grand entrance, with its sweeping staircase, is decorated with columns inspired by classic Roman and Greek architecture. Which can make for some awesome wedding photography.

Wedding Photography on the steps outside Marylebone Town Hall..

Marylebone Register Office has THE most iconic steps outside. Completeing your wedding photography in style..

Walking out of Marylebone Register Office you’ll find one of my favourite little nooks as a wedding photographer - out of the way and an intimate spot with gorgeous natural light!

Wedding Photography behind Marylebone Town Hall

Directly behind Marylebone Town Hall, just one minute walk away, there exists the cutest little street lined with mews houses , cobbled streets and plants. Great for some post-wedding photography!

One of the great things about choosing Marylebone Town Hall as your register office is that you can have your couples’ photoshoot minutes away at Regents Park, if you were looking for additional wedding photography that reflects nature too..

Anna and Daz Wedding Photography | Walthamstow Town Hall | Leytonstone Tavern

Walthamstow Town Hall or Waltham Forest Town Hall as it is now known is a Grade II listed municipal builing in Walthamstow, East London. Anna and Daz hail from the area so chose the venue for their wedding and made the most of the external architecture for their wedding photography. Obviously they also wanted a natural wedding photographer to take candid pics too - so was very happy to help!

Waltham Forest Town Hall Wedding Photography

The front of Waltham Forest Town Hall is a great place for your wedding photography before or after the ceremony..

The day ran smoothly not least because we had popular and up-and-coming wedding planner Hannah The Planner on board to take care of everything. And my fave part were the beautiful decor she rustled up for the party!! Check out the table designs!

The Lordship Pub Wedding Photography | Christine Constantine Photography

The Lordship Pub Wedding

I’ve shot at Lordship Lane’s The Lordship Pub a couple of times this summer and it is fast becoming one of my favourite wedding venues! The pub so refelects my personality as a wedding photographer.

Situated on vibrant Lordship Lane in East Dulwich, The Lordship Pub is a charming blend of old-school London pub with a few contemporary touches. Unlike traditional wedding venues, a pub wedding at The Lordship offers a more unique and memorable space. The relaxed vibe, coupled with the stylish setting, makes it a standout choice for those couples wishing to break from the norm AND have fab wedding photography. Win win!
