Dafermou Winery (Ktima Dafermou) in Lefkara remains one of my favourite and frequent wedding venues to shoot at. Just the vibe, architecture and stunning exterior, surrounded by vineyards and starry skies, make it one of the number one wedding venues in Cyprus. And lets not forget the food! An all-round incredible wedding experience and highly recommended!

Top Ten Greek Wedding and Christening Suppliers in London

You know in this blog I wanted to give a bit of a shout out to some of the Greek wedding suppliers I’ve met and worked with along my journey as a London wedding photographer. From cake-makers to dressmakers; from florists to fireworks. These people are the creators, the orchestrators of your wedding or event. They put their individual skills together for one moment in time and create a unique experience for your special day. All details are correct as of March 2022 and I plan to keep it updated with the latest news/photos and info on more suppliers I have the pleasure of meeting along the way.

She has over ten years experience of being a Greek Christening photographer, as well as a christening photographer of other faiths. Maria from @sofiacouturebabyboutique is another incredible Christening supplier with a popular following in North London and beyond. Established in 2011 she has a 15.5 thousand followers on Instagram and also provides Boys’ & Girls’ Christening Wear & Accessories and personalised gifts. A one-stop shop based in N14, North London.

Olivias Cakes (@olivias_cakes_london) are based on Silver Road, Edmonton, North London and cater for weddings, Christenings and birthday parties. Now a popular cafe also serving coffee and Cyprus sandwiches, owner Maria and her husband Theo have a growning reputation in the local area and beyond for preparing not just stunning creations, but vegan and gluten-free options too. There are many beautiful plants, flowers, succulents and herbal borders making it somewhat of a little Cypriot paradise for anyone who visits. The wedding team The Event Company work hard to ensure every part of your wedding day runs smoothy and in my opinion are one or the more professional and talented team on the island.

Located above Pissouri Bay in Cyprus, Columbia Beach Resort is simply one of the best hotels in Cyprus. The hotel overlooks a beautiful and quiet coastline and backs onto a tranquil pebbled beach. The hotel has many luxurious suites, an outstanding restaurant and an award-winning spa. It is definitely in the luxury wedding catagory and also one where everything you need for your wedding day is close at hand. On the grounds there sits an old Byzantine Chapel (All Saints Chapel) which is beautifully decorated inside. As a Cyprus Wedding Photographer I have worked here numerous times over the last ten years and is one of my favourite places to work.

Fireworks, Cake-Cutting and Party!

Shana and Sam's Jewish Wedding Photography | London Waldorf Hilton Hotel | Aldwych | London

I turned up at London’s Waldorf Hilton Hotel and very quickly met with the sweetest young couple - Shana and her husband-to-be Sam. These guys had been together since their teens and had decided to tie the knot in front of all their friends and family from around the globe! As is in-keeping with their Jewish faith the couple had all the Jewish wedding traditions - the signing of the Ketubah, the veiling of the bride, the ceremony under the Chuppah, the breaking of the glass etc, in one long lavish day at the Waldorf Hilton.
